Parents are the single most influential factor in determining student success. At Allen Park Elementary parents are encouraged to be actively engaged in their student's educational journey. There are many ways to be involved from volunteering in your child's classroom or media center to becoming a member of PTA's "adopt a room program".

  This is a free training that is offered to families at Allen Park in the fall of each school year. It is a common sense approach that teaches skills that cultivate confidence and good decision-making in children. Adults learn to avoid anger, threats, warnings, and lectures and to replace them with respect, empathy, and choices.

Volunteer Information

Please email our Volunteer Coordinator, Judith Donlan at [email protected], if you are interested in volunteering. Our Media Center would love to have volunteers to help shelve books. We also need volunteers to assist in classrooms and help with special activities.
